Broadcast Account Manager chez Havas Media Belgium

Havas Media Belgium is looking for a motivated Broadcast Account Manager.

The Account Manager ensures the definition media plans and oversees the running of media campaigns for a specific clients’ portfolio.

He/she is responsible for the media planning recommendations and negotiations.

He/she is in charge of the management of the campaigns (booking, go live, optimization) and the related cost and quality parameters.


Job content

  • Buying process
    • Establish the documents (quotation, purchase order…) and provide them to third parties
    • Ensure the campaign’s go live and make sure deadlines and objectives are met
    • Write status reports throughout the duration of the project to keep clients and peers updated
    • Administration tasks that will help to keep campaigns well-managed and organized
    • Participate in invoicing clients and managing disputes in cooperation with the controller
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts
    • Conduct meetings with clients and keep in contact with them at all stages of the campaign
    • Manage client budget and invoicing ; define and master terms & conditions and outline agreements
    • Monitor the ongoing activities related to clients
    • Establish, maintain and nurture good relationships with clients
  • Run media campaigns
    • Liaise with the Account Director to define the media plan strategy, recommendations and lead negotiations
    • Design the brief, deliver presentations, disclose campaign details to client and all team members
    • Spearhead and optimize media buying strategies
    • Manage, review progress and deliver the clients advertising campaigns
    • Quality control of all work that is submitted to clients

What do we expect from you?

  • 3-year experience in media planning/buying on his/her expertise
  • Strong knowledge of the media and advertising landscape
  • Solid command of media planning/trading techniques, tools, general terms and conditions
  • Great business sense and negotiating skills
  • Ability to work to budgets ; sense of financial management
  • A keen eye for detail and an understanding of budget restraints
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Confidence and a persuasive manner
