The Brand, Marketing & Communication team at EY Belgium is seeking a skilled social media specialist to take our social media presence to the next level. As a social media specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities on our social media platforms and provide support for flagship campaigns. Working under the guidance of the Content Marketing and Social Media Lead, you will contribute to the development and implementation of an effective social media strategy.
Your exceptional writing and design skills will shine as you create engaging social media copy and assets from start to finish. After publishing the content, you will analyze the results and make adjustments as necessary to ensure highly effective and captivating organic and paid campaigns.
As a true social media native, you will enthusiastically share your expertise with colleagues in the Brand, Marketing, and Communication team, as well as various business professionals and teams throughout the organization.

Your key responsibilities
- Content Creation and Curation: Create engaging and shareable content for social media platforms, such as posts, images, videos, and infographics. Curate relevant content from internal and external sources to provide value to the audience.
- Employee Advocacy and Ambassador Program: Devise and carry out strategies empowering employees to become brand advocates. Provide training and resources to help them effectively represent the brand and amplify its reach.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies. Track engagement, reach, conversions, and other relevant KPIs. Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting the impact of employee advocacy efforts and suggesting areas for improvement.
- Social Media Strategy Development: Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. This includes identifying target audiences, selecting appropriate social media platforms, and defining key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
To qualify for the role:
- Demonstrated 3-5 years of relevant experience as a social media professional.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with knowledge of Dutch and/or French as valuable additions.
- Creativity and design skills to develop engaging and visually appealing social media content. Proficiency in basic design tools or graphic editing software.
- Competent in planning and implementing paid social media campaigns, including skills in leveraging advertising platforms and optimizing ad performance.
- Analytical and data-driven approach to analyze social media metrics and optimize strategies Familiarity with social media analytics tools is essential.
- Quick learner with a problem-solving mindset, capable of absorbing information in various fields.
