Vanaf 21 augustus 2017 versterkt Laura Van Waeyenberge Thomas Cook Belgium als nieuwe woordvoerder en communication manager. Laura Van Waeyenberge heeft een ruime ervaring in public relations en corporate affairs. Ze startte haar carrière achter de camera als researcher voor televisieprogramma’s zoals Jambers. Daarna ging ze aan de slag als woordvoerder voor MediaMarkt om vervolgens als consultant de communicatie te verzorgen voor retailers als IKEA en andere klantgerichte sectoren bij het communicatie-adviesbureau Whyte Corporate Affairs. De afgelopen drie jaar was Laura Van Waeyenberge woordvoerder en communication manager van Uplace en diens voorzitter Bart Verhaeghe.
